Mary Alol

She escaped from the war in Northern Uganda with ten of her grandchildren after her three sons were killed. She struggles to live with this big family, old as she is, she stays in the camp of the internally displaced people in Mukono. She lives in a small mud house which is about to fall. She needs help in feeding these children and also a house to live in.

These children are: Emma, Stephen, Justine, Achen, Apio, Silver, John, David, Everline and Jane.

Stella Akurut

She ran from the war in Northern Uganda. She lost her husband, three children and both her parents. She now stays in the camp for the internally displaced people in Mukono, Kampala. She also lives an H.I.V. positive life.

She wants a house to stay in and also to train in saloon.

Abdu Kakooza

He is a child who survived among the youth who were abducted by the L.R.A. rebels. He lives in a camp of the internally displaced people from Northen Uganda in Mukono where life is not all that good. He wants to train in mechanics so that he can get something to do to earn a living.

Achen Annet

She escaped from the L.R.A. camp in Northern Uganda where so many girls were abducted and made wives to the rebels. She suffered rape and even lost her family members. She wants to train in Vocational skills after that, she will get a job to do and earn a living.

Levi Mukisa

Levi lost both his parents, two sisters and three brothers. He is now living with others in one of the houses at the camp.
