Helping Ugandan Refugees

These people have been displaced from Northern Uganda. A war has been tearing apart many lives for the best part of 20 years. In 2003 Jan Egeland (UN’s former Head of Humanitarian Affairs) described this situation as the most neglected humanitarian crisis in the world.

HUR wants to bring relief and support to the camp near Kampala where around 400 children and 150 adults have fled. They need to overcome the trauma of the loss of family members, homes and possessions. We want to help them build a future of hope, purpose and security.
